With Office 365 and Excel on your tablet, you can edit a spreadsheet from wherever you are. Watch the video to see how this works using Excel for iPad.
The following procedure describes how to perform this task using Excel for iPad.
You can edit a spreadsheet on an iOS device by using the Excel app.
Here I have my budget workbook open on my iPad. Right now, it’s in read-only mode.
I want to make a few changes, so I’ll tap Edit.
First, I’ll update the title of the file.
I’ll tap this green checkmark to accept the change.
I want to enter new values in the quantity and cost columns, but I don’t want to delete the formulas in the cells. So, I’ll clear the entries instead.
That way, my formulas will still work when I enter new quantities and costs later.
And I’ll add a note to one of the items.
Well, that’s enough for now.
My changes are saved automatically so all I need to do is close the file.
